2021 CME Program
Our 2021 Program will once again be virtual and will focus on Michigan Board of Medicine requirements.
March 25, 2021 – Human Trafficking (approved for CME credit)
Speaker: Bridgette Carr; Clinical Professor of Law, University of Michigan
*The Human Trafficking CME is a one-time Michigan Licensure requirement
Participants will be able to effectively implement the specific standards of the Michigan Board of Medicine in the practice of anesthesiology and be able to adapt their practice to employ this new information.
May 25, 2021 – American Society of Anesthesiologists Update (approved for CME credit)
Speaker: Randall Clark, MD, FASA, ASA President-Elect
Participants will learn about updates to the practice of anesthesiology at the national level and be able to make appropriate changes to their own practice.
August 2021 – Medical Ethics
Speaker: Roy Soto, MD, FASA, Beaumont Health System
*Three hours of Medical Ethics CME is required for Michigan Licensure per three-year cycle
- Training in opioids and controlled substances
- Pain and symptom management
Target Audience: physicians in the practice of anesthesiology and medical students
The Virtual CME sessions are free to members. We encourage you to attend the live webinars. However, if you are unable to attend live, the sessions will also be recorded and available for viewing and CME credit on the MiCME site.
CME credit is approved separately for each activity. When an activity is approved for CME credit, a link is provided to register for the activity. The following information applies to each activity approved for CME credit.
