LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A safer alternative to opioids with the potential to put your pain at ease.

CBD is becoming a popular medical remedy. Two of Michigan’s largest medical providers are joining forces to determine if CBD can help treat pain.

CBD is being put to the test in Michigan’s medical community.

“CBD is the non-intoxicating portion of cannabis and it’s estimated about 14% of Americans use some form of CBD,” said professor and physician Chad Brummett.
